i have a personal injury case that is now 2 years old. my lawyer doesn't keep me informed on what is going on in the case. he doesn't reply to emails when i contact him and if by chance he does he acts like i'm bothering him.when he filed the lawsuit he set the amount without even talking it over with me. if i call him he gets rude with me if i ask him questions about what;'s going on with the case. i have bent over backwards to not anger this man but no matter how nice and polite i am to him he always tries to make me feel like he's doing me a favor by even taking my call. then last month out of the blue i get a letter saying he wanted to withdraw from the case because his case load is to high and he doesn't feel like he can give the case it due attention. i had witness's to my accident and he never contaced them in the 2 years . . i just feel like he has messed up my case and i will never get anything out of it. i had doctor bills that need to be paid but i think the case is really in the toilet now because of his malpractice. i have a back problem and enough medical bills now that will put me in bankrupacy if my case is lost.i can't find new representation because he has yet to withdraw.some firms don't want the case because it has progressed to far. if he gets tp withdraw from the case whats' the best way to find a new lawyer? i would like to know the best way of finding out if i can sue this lawyer for legal malpractice
